MySQL Conference and Expo starts this week

JasperSoft open source community growing
JasperSoft Corporation announced this week that more than 30,000 Business Intelligence developers have registered for JasperForge.org since it was launched in July of 2006, and over 130 BI projects have been initiated. Some of the more popular JasperForge.org projects include the Drupal Bridge for JasperReports, iReport with Hibernate, Oracle Stored Procedures, Reporting and OLAP Analysis Tools for Bugzilla, and Jasper4Eclipse, an iReport plug-in project for eclipse. Entrance MySQL Browser released

Entrance beta release 0.74.0 is now available. Entrance is a MySQL browser with charts, written by our own Tod Landis. It can display tables and query results as histograms, line charts, and scatter plots. Entrance also allows users to select and examine data points in charts. It supports an innovative feature called "data painting" that can be used to explore multi-dimensional data sets. Entrance is released under the GPL, and runs on Macintosh OS X, Unix, GNU/Linux, and Windoze systems with JRE 1.6. The free downloads are here: http://todlandis.com/Entrance.html.
